Uses:

It's used to treat bacterial infections, such as: chest infections (including pneumonia) skin and bone infections. sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Contraindication

Contraindicated in patients that are suffering from infectious mononucleosis (viral disease characterized by fever, sore throat, and pain). It is also contraindicated in patients that have hypersensitivity (intolerance) to penicillin (antibiotic), cephalosporins (antibiotic) or other beta-lactam drugs.
