Uses:

It is used for resistant edema associated with secondary hyperaldosteronism, resistant hypertension, chronic cardiac failure, and hepatic cirrhosis.

Contraindication

Anuria, acute renal insufficiency, hepatic coma and pre-coma, low blood pressure (hypotension), cardiac arrhythmias
